Editing audio, getting distracted, & walking in the woods

Internet rabbit holes = bad Walks in nature = good

Today, I was editing audio for my newest piano album, Riverside Meadow, that I will be releasing under my name (Richard Pryn).

I spent yesterday morning recording the entire process so that I could show you behind the scenes of how I go about producing my piano albums.

This is me recording my last piano album, Memories of Joy

This is me trying to stick to the content strategy I laid out last week.

After I finished editing the audio, I asked Debs to produce some beautiful artwork for the album cover. She has always provided me with stunning collages for my newsletters and piano album covers, which I am very grateful for.

If in doubt, go for a walk

I then got distracted and sucked into a YouTube rabbit whole thanks to this video from Davie504 which got me feeling rather inadequate as a creator.

So I decided to go for a walk to clear my head...

I am blessed to be surrounded by some pretty stunning countryside.

BUT...

I seem to forget how good it is to get out of the house and walk in nature.

It also gave me a chance to record the video intro to episode 31 of my weekly podcast, Diary of a Music Maker.

I just released my 33rd album!

I am also celebrating the release of ALBUM #33 for my record label, Pryn Music; The Master Sword by Dryad's Grove.
