...and I am not sure I enjoyed myself.
It was a video that I intended to turn into a YouTube short, but realised halfway through that I was making it in the wrong aspect ratio.
I wanted to make a video that showcased my thought process for making my music that used "retention editing" - this is when you make sure that something is changing on the screen every 1-3 seconds to keep the viewer engaged.
I love the idea of creating videos like this, but honestly, they don't feel like me.
Maybe I will be thinking differently if this one goes viral, but at this stage, I would rather create a simple still image-based video like this one ⤵️
This video is doing better than most of my current videos - plus I really like this style
It is a good day when you find something you don't want to do and that doesn't feel right for you.
